Restaurant Experiences at Disney

When you think of theme park food, you may have images of soggy corndogs and funnel cake. However, Disney has much more to offer than your average park food. Between family-style restaurants and buffets, and more fine dining establishments, Disney offers quality and delicious food for all of its patrons.

One of the biggest attractions at Disney is being able to eat a meal with Disney characters. At Cinderella’s Royal Table, you can dine with Disney royalty. This experience is special, as you will get to eat among Disney princesses. There is a buffet offering exquisite food, from savory entrées to decadent desserts. The princesses also love to sign autographs after you’re finished eating.

If you want something more unique, be sure to check out the ethnic restaurants and Epcot. Here, you can find everything from French Canadian food to traditional English pub fare. The Biergarten Restaurant offers German food and is a great place for adults to grab a traditional German beer. The Biergarten Restaurant also offers live performances of German dancing. This is an experience not to be missed! If you are under certain time limitations, you can find unique food from around the world at many cafes and quick-service restaurants around Epcot.

If you’re visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you can eat at the 50s Prime Time Café, an old-fashioned diner whose waiters have lots of character. There you can find a classic burger and milkshake in a vintage environment.

Many of these restaurants require reservations. During the high season (summer months and Christmastime) it is more difficult to secure reservations. Especially if you are traveling with a large party, you will want to call a few months in advance to secure a table. Dining at Disney is truly a special experience that will add memories to your Disney adventure.
