For many years in a row, Alaska Airlines was quite the popular airline with parents. The airline was famous for running a promotion that allowed for one child (ages 2-11) to fly free to a number of airports in Southern California with each ticket-purchasing adult.
Of course, with a deal that good, there were a number of strings attached. Passengers had to book vacation packages at Disneyland hotels, and still had to pay various airport and security fees. However, many families saved a lot of money on their trips to Disneyland in years past. Even if the kids’ tickets weren’t 100% free, the deal was value-packed (especially when you consider the high cost of park admission).
Unfortunately, this deal was not offered in 2012. However, Alaska Airlines isn’t saying whether or not the deal will be offered in 2013. Right now, it’s too son to tell whether or not Alaska Airlines will fly kids to Disneyland for free, but many are hoping the deal will be repeated.
Whether or not the kids fly free deal is offered, Alaska Airlines offers some great deals to Disneyland visitors on this official page. Some current offers include:
- 4th night free at Anaheim Camelot Inn and Suites
- 3rd night free at Carousel Inn and Suites
- Early entry into parks at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel, Disneyland Hotel, and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa
- Resort credits at Sheraton Park Anaheim Hotel
- 4th night free at Anaheim Marriott and free dining for kids
Clearly, Alaska Airlines is offering some stellar deals in 2013 for families interested in traveling to Disneyland with a tight budget. Have you visited Disneyland with Alaska Airlines before?
